Tomato - Chlorosis
Symptoms
Manganese deficient plants show chlorotic zones in the intercostal areas of the younger leaves, whereas the veins and a small seam around them remain green. With ongoing deficiency, gradually growing necrotic spots appear in the chlorotic interveinal tissue.
In some cases, symptoms may also appear on older leaves first.
Reasons
Manganese deficiency on the leaf.
Similar symptoms can be found with iron deficiency, but the chlorosis is more severe then, and the veins do not remain green at severe deficiency.
